HC has released its Linux only control panel though its still in beta.

Do you've any idea what price they might be selling it?

I haven't seen that control panel before. Well it looks simple and lite panel.
I think it's still in beta version so they don't have yet set its price, until the official version? Or is this going to be Free control panel (not paid one)? :D

I've tried it today, its simple and perform basic functions pretty good. Now sure, if this is going to be free as Hosting Controller has all paid softwares but this won't be a bad idea for them coming up with free Linux control panel.

One more thing, you can manage multiple web, dns, db etc. servers within your cluster.

Have been using hosting controller for few yrs on very few windows dedicated , its a very simple control panel to administrate things with your domain.

HC on linux is again good for simple administration of your website you can try and check it out.

I am testing the beta version, although it is their lite edition in beginning but very efficient and quite comprehensive :agree:

HCNix seems to be the exact replica of Hosting Controller control panel. And if they add new features to it. I hope this would produce a good competition to the existing Linux control panels like CPanel etc. Overall easy to use product due to its simplicity of GUI though its still in BETA.

I don't think they are going to get big audience unless it is similar to cPanel in terms of featuress and better in terms of price. I'm gonna love it if it is better than DirectAdmin in terms of functionality and api support. Directadmin has more api support than cpanel.

Lets hope that HCNix would give a good competition to DA and Cpanel as it would provoke these control panels to give more rich features to keep them alive in the competition.

Has any one tested it in cluster environment?

I will try to test it on a clustered environment but the interface i must say is very robust and the panel is super fast.
