Looking for some niche market ideas. Any good ones out there that anyone has seen? Could be an entirely new service or just something added to existing services. Just looking for something that not everyone and their brother offers.

Large scale DoS and DDoS protection/mitigation -- for the most part, there's only a few big names out there for this market.

However, there's a good reason there's not a lot of hosts offering this type of service. It's very costly.

This can possibly accomplished with 1 24 hour server admin [s] and top level security. Yes, that is expensive (from experience).

An experienced admin can setup some firewall rules to mitigate small ones and portions of large ones, but at some point you just need a bigger pipe than the guy. That's where the real costs come in.

I like the ideas. If anyone else has some please speak your mind. Something you would fall head of heels for if you found someone who provided it...

DDOS Protection is one.
End User Support is another one. Lot of companies provide admin service but not end user support.
