Hello,

I have a site that is undergoing redesign, and we need several sections to be done a certain way. We have tried to look for various "pre-made" scripts across the net and have not found what we are looking for. With that in mind, we turn here for some assistance.

We are looking for someone with experience in PHP/SQL and whatever other languages to help us create four main programs for our site:

1.) We are looking to create a "free homepage" type of system for our members that does not require much response from an admin to run. In this hosting system, we would like to be able to have a "registered" members information added to a database for later viewing and use. We can discuss all the details about this one later.

2.) Next we need a New Posting interface that will allow multiple members to post news to the site and edit that news. Need to be able to setup the various users with different access levels to prevent trouble.

3.) A "Link Manager" type script that will allow visitors to submit "links" to various sites or articles to show up on the site. Before these links appear on the site though, they need to be approved by the administrator. Would like to make this as 'hands-free' as possible (i.e. no HTML editing needed by admin)

4.) A "Members" page listing the active members of the site, allowing each to login to an area to update their own information, etc.

If anyone out there can do this, please let me know. Give me an idea of what's involved and possible costs. We'll work something out! Thanks!!

P.S. This is not an illegal site, but rather a site to gather people interested in computer viruses, their workings, their creation, and other security issues.

I would suggest looking at the following resources for really talented PHP Programmers:

1. "Kunal" - A member and moderator of this forum. I hear he is the best, but he is more expensive than others. You get what you pay for though.

2, Rentacoder.com - You can post what you need, and coders from all over the world bid on the project. You can check their feedback profiles to see their past projects and feedback. They also offer an escrow system, so the designed gets paid only if they meet pre-set expectations. This is my personal favorite. You cant beat the price.

3. ScriptLance.com - Same concept as above, but for some reason it just doesnt seem as reputable.

Everything you listed above is available in a Content Management System called PostNuke CMS (http://www.postnuke.com/) or PHP Nuke CMS (http://www.phpnuke.com/) both of which are written in PHP, utilize MySQL as a database backend, and are completely free.

Hope this helps!
