View Full Version : Beware Avity!

Alright, this is confirmed by myself.

I can not get into my Cpanel without getting some type of an error, and I can not get complete backups because the server is almost full...and guess what! I have no one that can access the server to help me!
I purchased a resellers account from Avity...I want to tell anyone that is looking not to be fooled by them. The owner Timothy does not respond to pages.

Take a look here

if you know anything about partitions that should frighten you to death.

Well all I know is, that the people that are wanting to move from my services can not...their sites can not be downloaded example their databases.
Mike from WebAuthorites was kind enough to help get the server from having too much downtime, thank you very much for that sir!

But frankly I am sick and tired of this! So beware of this company!

That's very unusual. I wonder if he's running any kind of monitoring software on the server itself. There shouldn't be just / either, but a variety of partititions to prevent problems.

Well the guy can simple tell me something is up...but no resorts to hiding...he is on here right now as I speak...

Yeah...I saw that partition and realized what it meant I was very scarred...

Avity is a well-respected company. However, Timothy let it fall quite a bit this week! I cannot get into my cpanel, either, to access my databases. I don't know what to do!

Timothy and I used to frequent the chat mediums, but he hasn't bothered to check up on it this time. Email won't work (space full), there's no working helpdesk, he doesn't answer the "emergency" pager, and I need those databases to move my site!

Could it be another case of someone losing interest in hosting?

I finally got ahold of Timothy and he's resolving the problem. I was able to complete my transfer.

Anyway, he's still running the company. He was just away for a week and didn't have any support for some reason.
