Hi everyone!

I am a new member of this forum.

Our company works in the field of web site development. We are searching for appropriate web hosting services. These are the two companies we finally choose: Tera-byte and Simple solutions.

But we need your opinion before making the final decision :)

If anybody can tell me something about them - please don't be shy :)

You can check out users reviews of different hosts at places like webhostdir.com, ratewebhost.com etc...

I think the search function is not available yet...they just upgraded this board and I dont think you can use the search option yet....those bring in past posts.

I can tell you that http://www.tera-byte.com
is highly recommended.

I was looking at Tera-byte for my new ecommerce biz. Too bad they do not allow shared access to their SSL secure servers.

What do you mean with that: "shared access to their SSL servers"?

Shared access to SSL means that existing SSL certificate can be shared and it is common practise by most of the web hosting companies to offer shared SSL certificate. If you have your own SSL certificate the secure address for your secure part of the site could be some thing like https://secure.yoursite.com. If another site on your server need to share the same certificate the address could be https://secure.yoursite.com/anothersitename

It is simple to do and cost nothing to share the SSL certificate and therefore most of the web-hosting companies offer it as an added feature. Also not all the companies can afford $125 per year (most usual price) to get own SSL certificate.
