Hi All,

Currently needing to move a couple of my private sites away from main infrastructure for security reasons. I have setup a VPS elsewhere and want to use a lightweight control panel on it, cPanel VPS and DA are too meaty for what I need.

Really want to stay away from webmin as i just dont like it, so any alternatives would be appreciated.

thanks

Give Kloxo a try. I have my own private server on which i installed Kloxo.

For internal use, VirtualMin gets my vote. However, Kloxo works pretty well too.

ispconfig / ispcp are also worth a look if you really want to avoid webmin/virtualmin (which would be my first choice for a free panel)

I will vote for ehcp if you are based on Ubuntu, Fantastic...
Kloxo is perfect for CentOS
Also there is another CP syscp (http://www.syscp.org/)
I used that on my local ubuntu 9.04, works well

I'll vote for kloxo, however, I use cPanel on my private vps for ease of backup and stability reasons.

Either ispconfig or Kloxo.
ISPConfig has been opensource and has a team always developing.
Kloxo has had a little issues with regards to the future development.
