My preferred gaming platform is the PC!

im all for pc , i do wish the console companies would put games like metroid prime and halo on pc , but those are the reason people get a console . The reason im all for pc is because im a counter strike junkie . Not to mention , multiplayer for the pc is years ahead of any console

PCs are good for gaming but nothing beats laying back on your sofa and playing a game rather than being stuck at a desk. My 2c. :)

But Playstation 2s can run linux anyway....people get consoles so there ALL the same not like with a PC, where someone may be 1ghz and another only 300mhz in speed. A console may be 733mhz. All the same.

Use cordless mouse / keyboard and a TV out gfx card for your TV, or get a nice chair

The best gaming platform is either natural grass or ice, depending on the game.

PC. Reason why?

Easy and fast online multiplayer. :stickout:

I hardly play any games these days, but when I prefer computer as you usually have much more control over the games then in console.

For example command & conquer on nintendo 64 was just straight out weird 75% of the things were took out then on computer.

Same for Starcraft on the Nintendo 64. The keyboard makes everything complete... Hotkeys, macros, easier movement, etc.

Console multiplayer would be a big hit if there were better online games and more people with broadband support.

I don't have much times for games anymore, but always preferred the PC for multiplayer capabilities.
