PLEASE NOTE: Before accepting any service offers, we will require feedback from REAL existing clients.
We are looking for the following:
1. A dedicated, SCALEABLE server.
2. Initial 1 x P4 1.2GHz CPU - ability to replace with a faster CPU, add additional CPUs, etc.
3. Initial 256 MB RAM - ability to add RAM as needed, up to 4GB.
4. 1 x SCSI 60GB HDD - ability to add additional HDDs later, so that we can implement RAID 5.
5. initial 50GB month non-Cogent, multihomed bandwidth - ability to grow to at least 500GB per server.
6. Non-prepaid additional bandwidth (overusage) < $2 per GB.
7. WHM / Cpanel
8. 24 / 7 email/ICQ/IM support, plus emergency telephone support - I'd like to be able to phone an actual, on-site engineer if absolutely necessary!
9. FREE reboots! ;)
10. PHP4, Perl5, etc - all the usual preinstalled goodies, plus the ability to install / have others installed as required.
Per items 2, 3 and 4 - I would prefer to pay the complete cost for additional upgrades upfront, as opposed to paying a monthly fee for a CPU or hardrive - they should be one-time expenses!
I will require nightly backups, and unlimited IPs (to be assigned as required - please indicate cost)
Although I would like the very best deal possible, I am not looking to squeeze honest businesses by setting an unrealistic $ limit. Also, the lowest quote may not necessarily win - quality is just as important as price!
