is it just me or has anyone else been receiving klez infected emails today?

i've received 4 today - all of them had the worm removed before i got it

Yea, I finally got one about 3 days ago (my first email virus)...

It got deleted pretty quick by my email filters.

your first, wow, thats amazing, you must only have one machine or something or an e-mail address you dont give out too often.

at my organisation we get e-mail virsu warnings at the rate of 20 a day, quite amusing really until i get my little warning popup when GroupShield fails and crashes (about once every other month) - usually just enters emergency restart when that happens and blocks all inbound message while its starting.

anyways, i wont bore you with my details, but ill agree, i got 6 klez warning messages this morning when previously i was getting about 1-2 a day

Me too. 2 of them yesterday.

I received that virus because the mail server didnt delete it, and I didnt have norton email protect running.

I'm usually pretty good with my filters and email addresses. I have a hotmail account that gets maybe 1 email a week.

The email addy that got the virus is used on a few sites, and I have a few others that don't get much email because they are unknown but to a few people.

I excersie a lot of caution when using my "good" email addresses.

Klez took down the whole server at my mom's work the other day.

Sadly enough, I think they need to get a new server admin over there... it could've easily been taken care of.

My mom's computer at work caught the virus coming in via Norton, but I think there must've been others that didn't have Norton installed and let it slide past to the main server.

It took down the whole server, and the only backup they had was from the night before. So they lost everything that was saved/worked on that day. A real pain in the arse - since she works at a law office.

I also recieved one of the emails..

My email server has virus scanning,so if a virus comes in,it gets deleted and all i get is a warning about it (hehehe)

I got a few for the first time. What was strange with mine was...

1 of them had a return address of @businesslogo.net and another had an address of thelogofactory.net so in my case it felt like a personal attack....but strange how everybody else notices an increase at the same time...now I am really confussed.
