Do you know any RESELLER company who offers packages of around $30 per year ?

I managed to find a reseller called TRUSTAHOST (their packages are nice and costs $36 per year)..Unfortunately they are taken over by another company so probably the are gonna change the price...

Greetings,
I would never trust my business to a $30.00 per year reseller account, may I ask what your disk space and bandwidth requirements are?

Greetings,
At $30 per year, you are not going to be able to use that, you would for sure be on a very oversold server or a "fly-by-night" host. You would need to double your budget at least.

yep...Trustahost has many good reviews around.. thats why i trust them for lower prices.. otherwise i could have mislead for frauds or oversellers...

Unfortunately we have to see if their prices still remain the same in the new company...

You could ask hosting companies for custom plans if they are willing to give it for that price.

Always try to answer yourself this question: based on server prices in the market, would you be able to offer that? How many accounts would you have to put per server? Is it even remotely possible for a server to hold that much data or push that much data?

$3 per month is very very cheap even for a shared hosting account, and even there, you could really expect to be able to host more than a couple of medium traffic websites. ;)

Going for cheap reseller plans is not advised as it's like inviting troubles. There is always the risk of downtimes and poor support. Throw some extra cash and go for one which is reliable. Like in hosting you'll get what you pay for, so go for one which is reasonably priced. You can find a lot by searching the forums.

Its actually £36 GBP NOT $36 USD

Big difference.

For a reseller package try to see if a company can give you a custom package for that, but that will be hard.

Look under US servers.

That's not what I meant.

When I last checked the UK servers page @ http://www.trustahost.com/shared/uk.php it had Annually ( 40% Discount ) £36.00

now it has Annually ( 40% Discount ) £18.00

Looks like prices have changed.

Its ok actually.

But what about the price difference

UK Server = £36.00
US Server = £24.00

You won't be able to get a reseller with those resources AND good support for that price per year.

You either need to start off with a reseller that has lower resources and if this isn't viable for you then you'll need to increase your budget to at least double what you have now

The cheapest I've seen for the specs you want is around $100/year. I think you'd really have to up your budget for a reliable host.

Good luck in finding a host!

I always imagined those annual type hosts taking a pc, hooking it up to a residential dsl line and putting about 200 resellers on it then charging something like $10 - $40 per year for unlimited with self-support with a wonderful knowledge base.

You will definitely have to increase your budget for a reseller of that specifications that you are looking for. Bearing into mind that the "$30" you stated was in GBP and you were actually fine with "$36" for the website that you provided us with, your budget right now would be 54 USD per year which might still be a bit low. Try raising it just a little bit more and perhaps you can check with some hosts if there are any discounts if you opt to remove any free billing systems that come with those - usually that contributes to at least 30-40% of the bills that users pay per month.
