I know Google Docs has good web based spreadsheet, but I am looking for any scripts that can enable me to host my spreadsheets on my own web-server and share it with some other users.

Any suggestion appreciated.

Really depends what you're trying to do. If you want to edit documents via the web interface, you probably need Excel Web Services. If you just want people to be able to download them, than any 'ol file manager script will do.
