We are seeking the best solution to do searches of all content in both WordPress and VBulletin parts of one website.

What do you think of this one?

It has to communicate to and from the Google servers on each search.

I know Google Analytics can slow websites down, because they have to report to and from the Google servers. If Google is having a slow day, so will the searches.

What are your thoughts on this?

Is this Google Search the best or is there something better out there that remains on your servers, instead of someone elses server?

Or is this good so it won’t be so server intensive?
