I badly need a PHP or bash way to obtain the cpanel password in plaon text from whmcs' database. My PHP and MySQL knowledge however is parasitically non-existing. I tried a few suggestions in WHMCS' forum, but they either didn't work or returned a strangely encoded value like:

This script will be used separately from WHMCS. I have a MySQL user added to the whmcs database with only SELECT priviliges and I need to use this user to fetch the password in plain text when searching by cpanel username.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Ask Matt directly (File a support ticket with WHMCS). Asking the decryption key in a forum will not help you out.
