Hi,

I'm curious if anyone can tell me how this website was built? Is it a CMS and what kind?

Thanks a lot.

Awesome, thank you.

Be careful with Joomla! however, it is known to have numerous security vulnerabilities. For example check the info about the Joomla! exploits at http://www.joomlaexploit.com/
Maybe it is worth considering making your own site from scratch if security is important for what you'll do.

Hello Sergey,

Thanks a lot for your response. Security is somewhat important although we won't have information being stored that cannot be shared. Would simply being a real estate website with various home listings. I just thought some of the features inside this website were nice and wondered what they were building on.

It looked like Joomla but wasn't able to be 100% certain.

Thanks everyone!

Joomla may have exploits however there are several security precautions you can take to make your site safer. Joomla is well known and is actually an overall decent cms, though there are better solutions out there.

Yes, that site appears to be using joomla and a real estate component which you can find in the joomla extensions directory.

Sorry this doesn't look like Joomla to me. The CSS files for the site aren't in a templates directory. It looks like it may be a homecoded solution, looking at the source.

Country life is owned by IPC Media which publishes around 85 magazines. The CMS is probably Polopoly by Atex with custom JavaScript modifications.
