hey, i was wondering...

if Everyone.net is successfully set up, does this affect cgi scripts that use the sendmail shell? for some reason, any script that requires a sendmail shell doesn't seem to work

It doesn't or shouldn't. Everyone.net requires DNS zone record changes for the domain's MX record. This shouldn't affect sendmail on the server in any way.

you might want to read your mail log ( /var/log/maillog ) to see what might be causing you problem(s)

Its been a while since I used sendmail.

You have to remove your domain name from the sendmail.cw or sendmail.cf file from what I recall. Otherwise sendmail will try to deliver your local email, locally!
