View Full Version : Reseller Web-Hosting !
smak786110 03-27-2010, 07:42 AM Hello guys !
I want to get a reseller plan. (CHEAP with good reputation around)
I have found the following in my research:-
Hostgator
Justhost
and
Dollar2host...
What are you suggestions ?
They are good enough in "support" and "prices" ?
Have any other suggestions ?
Hosting50 03-27-2010, 08:06 AM Why did you chose only this? I suggest you to don't go with unlimited features because they are not and you will be limited somehow. What are your requiments and budget?
AhmedB 03-27-2010, 08:10 AM jixhost ;) cheap + good support & friendly
cd/home 03-27-2010, 08:17 AM jixhost ;) cheap + good support & friendly
I have a reseller account with jixhost, Apart from the canned, one line responses from the support "department" their great.
But i wont be staying their long as am just reviewing their service and then going to move onto greener pastures ;)

The cheapest I got was of 19.9 something per month at Justhost..but their reviews are scaring me...

Check out hostdime, hostgator, innohosting, surpasshosting.
They should have something which fits your requirements to a tee.
What sort of things will you be using it for ?

Its never a good idea to get a domain at the same place as your hosting provider.
Maybe you could check out if theirs some hosts on here that will give you a custom package based on your requirements for a reseller account.

smak786110 03-27-2010, 09:02 AM ok..nice idea !
Why its not good to take domain with same company ?
Isnt it better to have all at one place ?

If the servers go down so does your domain and u,ll have no access to change your nameservers on your domain to point else where.
I keep all my eggs in seperate baskets, but your free to do as you please ;)

BH-Greg 03-27-2010, 11:09 AM I don't know about the other company's but HostGator is the best one.

Not only that, but they're quite new when it comes to reseller hosting. I would definitely prefer to go with a company that has made a name for itself in that market. It's not just the "name", but also the experience. It takes time for a business to tune its service and policies for the best results.

I have to agree with Dan here,
Name does not always equal reputation. I noticed that you are using the word "CHEAP" for your requirements. While I am no the biggest fan of this word, would you please define what is "cheap" for you?
smak786110 03-27-2010, 04:07 PM your 100% correct...The name and the reputation counts alot in a hosting business, where market is so high in competition !
I meant cheap, was a good reputable company..offering cheap packages..I need around 20gb space with arnd 200gb b/w or something similar... ;)

You should checkout hostdime they aren't "budget", But they are a good company.
Can't really comment on HostGator I've never felt the need to use hostgator i prefer using small companies.
MitradebanjanSEO 03-31-2010, 06:59 AM Go for Godaddy Reseller plan cheapest and reliable .Actually it depends on your technical requirement other from price and space requirement.
smak786110 04-01-2010, 12:43 AM ok..I discovered hostgator are very and highly expensive !
I tried to get coupons, but they are still very high compared to others !
GUYS- do you have any companies who are offering like $30 annually for reseller package ? There was Trustahost.com their prices were great, unfortunately it has been taken over by some other big expensive looking company....

Hi
Do You realize the same risk even if it is using private Name Servers (not just custom Name Servers)? Once You have dedicated IPs on top of your NSs at registrar You could contingence pointing another server, do I am right or...?
Kind regards
