If the parent company closes shop, it still doesn't mean the company is closing its doors. It depends on if they are cash flow positive or negative. They may either sell, or spin off the subsidiary. I don't know if the story's true or not, but Chapter 11 means they're reorganizing, it doesn't mean they're closing their doors. I think ValueWeb is going to be around for a while.
