I have read mixed reviews about Cirtex. I was thinking about hosting with them because it's very afford (it seems). But from what I have read, their customer service is poor (accusing customer of not really having an issue) and they always have downtime. My biggest concern is the downtime. Any experiences? Is it slow (don't want customers leave because the site is down or loading slow)

Definitely be sure to setup a dedicated ip w/ SSL if you do plan on doing ecommerce especially in a shared hosting environment. Otherwise there are other options such as setting up a managed vps or dedicated server as well.

We have thousands of happy customers but just like with any hosting companies there will be unhappy customers and downtime rarely sometimes that is unavoidable due to specific server issues.


To give some idea of statistics, for the month of MARCH so far we have had 100% uptime on all regular hosting servers except one, which had 10min of downtime, but it is still within 99.9% :)
