View Full Version : FrontDrive Hosting Gone

I have been a frontdrive customer for about 3 or 4 months now. Today my URL is somehow reset to the initial apache "welcome" and frontdrive.com is not available. Although my URL is pointing somewhere, my login id doesn't work.

I see some notes on the forums here that Frontdrive was shutting down (as of August/September?)

No one has notified me of the service terminating, and the availability/performance has been fine till now. Did I just lose a month's fees and several days of downtime while I relocate? Or are they just temporarily down? (Fortunately, I have a backup here...)

Yes, FrontDrive have gone out of business. You can find out more here:

I believe they tried to notify all of their customers by e-mail.

Thanks very much for your reply. Too bad I didn't know about it before they shut down!

Any hosting provider reading this who uses CPANEL (I dont like ENSIM) willing to provide me a similar or better deal to Frontdrive? I had the 600 MB special that they offered here....

You'd need to make a request in the Ad_forum. Hosts aren't allowed to respond to requests like that in this section of the forum. :)
