I am more interested in this offer on your site:

Tower Case
100GB
8
$50
$0

Any size restrictions for the tower? Also, will it be placed upright or on its side? Any, remote reboot port option?

It will be placed straight up. I don't really recommend them placed on the side. If it is a standard tower case you are welcome to any size.

We do have support that is here 24 x 7 to reboot the server for you at no charge. A reboot bar is not included and would cost more monthly.

Thanks and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Sounds good!

How much additional for the reboot port? Any one time fee option for the same?

And one more thing...

Incase we need support, say to format HDD and reinstall OS, things like that, what would be the hourly rate?

Also, do you require the original software licenses be submitted to you or how does that work?

Thanks!

I don't have a shared reboot strip to offer. However you are welcome to supply your own and we will be happy to install it for you. But I will be honest our support dept. is great for doing this. Within minutes, sometimes seconds.

Normally our hourly rate is $150.00 an hour. Sometimes we don't even charge for things. It really all depends on how long it takes to accomplish the task.

In regards to the software question, you are welcome to install anything on the server. We provide you full root access to the server once it is online.

Please let me know of additional questions.

Thank You,

This looks quite nice; is there a fairly large file we can d/l to test *real* speeds with ?
Anyone have the traditional uumap.tar.Z on a server there ?

Thanks :)

G'day YourHost,

With the colocated towers, what is the actual bandwidth connection for the boxes? What sustained burst can be expected?

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards,

LBJ

You are connected via a 100Mb connection with a shared 24 port cisco switch. Substained burst would be depend on the server your using. On our end with an open 100Mb connection expect around 80-85Mb

Thanks..

Why you don't provide remote reboot port. It's a basic feature of most DC here.
