I have about a 100 domains and a reseller account, and was wondering how certs work with Enom. My experience, so far, has only been with cheap certs. If you mess up, you buy over, no if, and, or but about that one. My ETP reseller doesn't respond to CERT questions, Enom says I have to talk to my ETP reseller, and won't provide any type of support, and the cert provider won't talk to you either, even when you are within the 7 day window, which makes sense, because he didn't sell me the cert. So you throw it away and start over.

I don't see any way to RENEW a cert at Enom. Due to the legal expense of a Verisign cert, it's a lot of money to buy new each time. Even then, if you make a mistake, you'd have to throw away $800-$1000 and start over. I also notice that after I put the cert in the shopping cart, and it has me log into my reseller account, the price of the cert jumps up about $100 over the publicly advertised price on the web site. Does anybody know if it is even possible to RENEW a Verisign cert on Enom?

It is strange for me they refused you to help. What do they recommend instead?

Which specific type of enom cert are you trying to buy? they sell different ones (ie rapidssl, etc), many of which are different prices. Perhaps the one you added to your cart is in fact $100?

Well I've bought certs direct from GoDaddy, from enom using a sub account through WHMCS, through OpenSRS, and through a reseller from GeoTrust. The only one I've ever made a mistake on, was with GoDaddy. I called them within an hour, and they revoked the original (mistaken) cert, and gave me credit to get a new one.
