So I have been with Ikohn Internet Solutions for nearly a year. I recently attempted to update my site to utilize PHP and MySQL more. Ikohn has some PHP configuration issues that they are dragging their feet on correcting. I want to do a simple directory listing inside of a directory that I created, and own, (all permissions set properly). So after 3 weeks of trying to get things working, I am looking for a new host.
My requirements:
Cost < $20
400+ MB data
5+ GB Transfer
PHP
MySQL
Webmail
SSH/FTP
Access to raw log files
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Rgds,
Stuart

Oh okay. Sorry.
We are in Indiana, and Ikohn is local here. It's probably a good idea to find yourself a new host! LOL.

srench,
Your best bet might be to post in the "Web Hosting Requests" forum and you will probably get a good amount of responses from hosting companies here at WHT.
Then I suggest you narrow your search down to 2 or 3 hosts that interest you and then do a search on them and see what type of feedback you can find on them and also maybe send a couple emails to there support team and see what type of response times you get so you will have a good feel of how responsive there support team is.. Good luck!

That request is very reasonable. Like the above said. Try posting this in Web Hosting request forum so that you can recieve offers.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I was with dot5hosting for about 2 weeks.. to much downtime and problems. I've considered going back when things get settled there.. but so far from what i've read there's still a few bumps.
I'm now with simplenethosting.. right now i've had no problems at all with them(but i've only been with them almost 2 weeks also).
I'm thinking about also making a free subdomain redirection service for multiple domains(like ********).. and simplenethosting doesn't allow it. I'm only going to switch if I decide to try the redirection service out, if I don't i'm going to stay where i'm at. I think http://simplenethosting.com is a worth looking into. good prices and service.
