Hello,
We've just setup a small cluster I guess you could call it at rackspace cloud servers.
We currently have:
- 1 Nginx server
- 2 Apache servers
- 1 Database/Search server
Currently Nginx process all incoming requests, serves static images directly, passes all php related stuff to the apache server.
Right now the nginx/apache servers are all 256mb ram each, with the db at 1gb.
How much memory would be recommended to perform very fast and easily sustain 250k page views per month? Our sites are growing fairly quickly at a rate of around 40k additional page views a month, so we want to set this up to be iron clad and easily handle say 500k - 1 million page views without further optimizing the setup.
