Cellotape is the clear plastic tape stuff. Christmas crackers, I'm thinking he means the ones you pull on both ends and they go bang?

I would like a story written about me, but I've never done anything worthy enough.

It's because he's in the UK and it's like the whole flashlight = torch, french fries = chips, bubbles and squeek's type of barrier.

*lmao*

Don't you love it when we can all be speaking the exact same language and still not a clue what the hell we're all talking about .

Makes you appreciate those of us here who don't use english as a first language. Gawd only knows what they make of our babbling at times.

personally i think that you should all know my language* so that you all understand

*may not conform to usual English speaking persons, alot of problems with spelling, grammer and punctuation :) has also alot of words not in the usual dictionary and made up words :)

On the subject of UK/US comparisons, what side is the clutch on in an American built car? I would assume it's on the right, but I'm not sure if left drive and right drive cars are complete mirrors of each other or not.

I have a US built Chevy Pickup standard.
sitting in the drivers seat, looking out the windshield I am sitting on the left side of the car. My clutch is on the left, brake in the middle and gas on the right.

And there you have it, they aren't perfect mirrors of each other! The clutch is on the left, brake in the middle and "accelerator" on the right in right-side-driver-seat cars as well!
