I am looking for software and or something that can track all inbound sales inquiries.

I know ticketsmith may be able to do this. What are the options others use.

Email is not efficient, especially for tracking emails from months ago.

You can setup email piping and different depts so sales enquiries are kept seperate from support (or whatever else you decide to include).

We use Ticketsmith to track our sales e-mails. It works like a treat. :)

Yeah I say perldesk, we currently use it and it works great!
