Clickatell has had messages to U.S. carriers down for a few weeks now, due to an abuse in their system, with no end in sight. Unfortunately, this means it's time to move on to a more professional provider.
I'm aware that some carriers provide sms to email gateways for their clients, but those are hardly 'reliable' transportation methods, as the systems tend to flag mails as 'false' more than anything, causing hosts to not be able to send mail to their clients, who paid for and requested the mail.
I'm looking for alternatives to clickatell. I don't mind paying a small amount of change to send SMS, but I'm not going to pay a fortune. There must be someone out there that has an easy to use PHP api somewhere which will allow direct interaction with their product, OTHER than clickatell!!
