Very true. I knew I had seen that design before. May want to throw that email toward SpamCop.

how would i go about reporting to spamcop? i have no interest in downloading their software, and it seems as though i have to to report?

and stephenM, anybody who signs up with them after reading this thread deserves whatever they get, quite honestly.

You just need to go here

http://spamcop.net/

After setting up your account you just right click the message in your email client, go to "properties" or "options" to get the headers ...copy and paste into SpamCop. Just accept SpamCop's default options.

Whole thing takes about 20 seconds per spam. Don't know how well it works but emails are sent, connected parties are informed and it makes you feel better and you can get on with your work. :)

spam is good www.spam.com :)

I think that spam should be punished with high fee's like 3000-4000 $ per incident, and no nooo it should not be collected by hosts or providers but directly by goverment, some sort of Department For Internet Abuse or something like that

Watch out using spamcop if you are on an ensim box. Their parser will report your own box.

Haha oh man this has happened 3 times so far to us, and our upstream doesn't realize it so I hav eto explain it each time "my own customer reported his pop3 server as an open relay we RECIEVED the spam, not sent it!!!"

:spam:

In any language, the same thing.

Problem is, people buy from them when they do this. Therefore, people do this and keep doing it.....
