What would be the best design you ever saw in your life related to hosting ?

Unfortunately, it would never be any site I have personally designed. I am more of a geeky coding guy than a visual design guy. :)

One hosting site design that I thought looked really impressive visually was

I like http://mediatemple.net/

firehost comes second but it takes me forever to actually reach there plans to view them. I prefer having buy now easily accessible.

I agree about FireHost. One of the best I've come across.

The best ones I've seen use a lot of fancy graphics and flash. Unfortunately they don't appear to be search-engine friendly because they don't rank very high in SERPs.
You can get around that by designing pages that are different for the SE robots but (at least for Google) many SE's don't like sites that show pages differently based on the visitor.

BlueHost for us. Simple and convenient.

Firehost's is brilliant.....and I also like Hawkhost's (http://www.hawkhost.com/) site for it's individuality as well!

Yep we love our Frog Host one even more than the Hawk Host one :)



As for others that firehost one is really sharp yet I've never heard of them. I guess there are just to many web hosts out there.

I'm really like MediaTemple as well, it is very clean and has nice jquery (I think?) tooltips. Wish I could make a design like that!

My all time best design was two stick figures in inappropriate places. After I realized I was the only one laughing I gave up art :)

I really like wiredtree.com its a very nice and clean layout. Although unitedhosting also have a very nice design.

Wow, lot of great designs. SingleHop.com is a pretty cool themed site.. Personally I have seen a sneak peak of the future Bluehost.com site and I must admit IT IS SHARP, should be released soon!
