Wow. I thought this was pretty amazing. We just switched to a vanity 888# this weekend (888-67-4HOST) and the amount of calls has tripled. Normally we get 3-4 inquiries a day (I know we are small) but today there was 10+ calls today. I sold most of them too woo hoo :)..

hmm, cool!
I was looking for a number on AT&T's small business page and there were no numbers ending in host I thought.
Might have to try again. I would love an 800 number, 888 is fine. 877 is okay, but 866 looks odd to me. Not sure why...

Ah, I must have hit the page when it wasn't working last time - becuase there's plenty of 888-***-host numbers, among others.
no 800, but that goes without saying. :)

Three numbers (123-HOST) are easier to remember than seven,- -- that's for sure. We've been pretty happy with our vanity number as well, customer's just have to remember how to spell the name. :)

http://www.att.com has a search tool and you can buy them from there. I know Angel.com offers toll-free numbers as well.
