Okay, so I explained it to support this way and didn't know how to answer.
SO I'll post it here.
It's also in domains, because I feel I'll get help in both subjects, so I posted both places.
Sorry:/

I want to use windows live mail, so I cannot use name server option on domain monster.

I use their DNS, but how do I forward it to my account on here?

Do I use the IP address function?

I need to add a MX record on my domain monster, so I can use windows live domain.

Can I use name server on domain monster, which won't let me use MX records, but can I use MX records on my WHM?

You get it? Haha

Above was message 1. Below explains more better.

Hahaha, okay I’ll rephrase.

On domain monster, I’m able to use 2 settings.
1.Nameservers, up to 4. NO MX or cname records.
2. Domain monster name servers. Yes, MX and Cname with IP forwarding. (A record)

I want to be able to use windows live domain. It can let me use their email function.

In order to use it, you need to add a MX record.

I cannot use ns1.xilililili.com haha with a MX rcord.
I can use domain monsters name servers for a MX record. However, using domain monsters nameservers, I cannot use ns1.xilixlilxixla.com.

The Xilixixixlxia domain was his domain, but it was hard to remember so I just typed the letters in the domain.
It's not the actual domain.

Any help? My one thread got deleted, because it is against the rules. Wow.
I'm guessing double posting is against too? :/

My topic isn't only about control panels. They will never understand..

It is hard to understand what you want. Basically, for most of us, here is how we configure it.

1) Set Nameservers, ns1.something.com, ns2.something.com (of the web host) on the domain name control panel / with the domain name registrar. Nameservers means to where the DNS records of the domain name is located. In this case, ns1.something.com and ns2.something.com is the place where the DNS records (MX, A, CNAME) are stored at.

2) Once you define the nameservers to your web host account, you can modify the DNS settings on the hosting control panel. In this case, cPanel or WHM. You can set your A Records, CNAME, MX here. In WHM, just select edit dns zone.

3) If you want using an external mail server, you can define the MX records.

I have also noted another angle to look at your question. Do you mean that you have an email called something@live.com, and you want to forward something@yourdomain.com to something@live.com?

You may want to explain your question more clearly.

When I do the WHM thing, it doesn't show any domain.

Their is no domain.

That's what I wanted to do, point name servers to the host, and edit MX records their but I thought that would use the hosts mail box which I don't want to do.

Wouldn't that idea flood my host? It keeps connecting to the nameserver of my host and asking what the MX entry is. Wouldn't that flood it and make it slow?

Have you added the domain name to your WHM account?

Nope, the hosting owner did it for me.

How would I go upon adding it?
