I know the owner, he's a great guy. He's reliable, always there if you need him and their network/hardware is top notch.

Trust me, they're one of the better companies in my list.

Thanks Mango for your reviews. Do you also purchased Servers from them? If so does it have Plesk?

Yes, we've got a heavy Ensim server on the ServerBeach network. Couldn't be happier. Never had any problem whatsoever.

Since how much time you are having this Server?
Are they quick on providing support?
Does they go one step ahead in providing support to their existing customers?

Thanks.

Shikha.

Shikha.

Since a few months actually.
We manage our own servers, so basically we don't need any support at all. It didn't happen yet, but in case the machine would need a reboot, I'm sure we can ahold of someone at ServerWave within the next 5 minutes.
I don't know which kind of support you would require - basically, this is an unmanaged server and any host replying to any question that is actually your responsability, makes the extra step to support you.

Haven't checked it, but last time I visited their site they did not offer any hardware upgrades, and Ip were like $1.00/month + $25 setup each

This is not true... its $2.50 per IP address per month. $25 to process the paper work for the justification - one time.

So if you order 4 addresses then its $10/month and a $25 one time fee.

Hello all,

I just found this thread and noticed the confusion.

ServerWave.Com and ServerBeach are not associated in any way or form.

Mango (Carl from cobaltweb) is indeed one of our (ServerWave.Com) customers.

We'd be happy to help anybody that has questions. Feel free to e-mail me at sw@serverwave.com and you'll receive a prompt reply. =)

Just thought I'd drop a small review on a Kahuna Server from ServerBeach.

It's running for 107 days now with 0% down-time caused by ServerBeach or their hardware. Sure, it is a non-managed server so you need to have the knowledge of adminstrating a server or have someone else do it for you. No Plesk or Ensim for me, our administrator wrote his own control panel which does the job so I can't say anything about those two applications. Of course, they have very little to do with ServerBeach themself.

Support is slow the few times I tried it yes and ironically they're quite fast with ToS Violations .. lol. So yes, if we do get in the situation a server stops responding I am not sure how fast ServerBeach can help us.

Anyway, to wrap it up. No problems here, in the beginning some hick-ups with their connection though but then again, I am talking about July/August 2002 with that.

I used to have a dedicated server with them, I beileve it was the owner who I was always in contact with. He's a great guy, the only reason I left was at the time due to personal finance issues.

Server Beach is excellent in my book. :)

Impossible since I have been using them since July. I do recall someone mentioning it's not one year old though. Correct me if I am wrong :)
