View Full Version : When blog works forums stops working and viceversa

Hello friends,
I am having a weird problem my problem is that i moved my domain from old neophytech.com to webdesigncut.com and during that i imported the sql with phpmyadmin and imported in my new domain after creating a dtabase but my forum and blog tables are under the same database and recently i changed my smf forum settings.php and then ran repair_settings.php because the forum was showing errors so i did that and after that the forum seems to be working fine now my blog is showing database connectivity error now what should i do? do i nneed to edit the wp config??i am in total mess need help?:( here is the link to my blog (http://webdesigncut.com/blog/) and forum (http://www.webdesigncut.com/forum/)

or this is caused by some limitations from the host that i cant run blog and forum undera same domain?

Your blog is working fine at my end. So please mention the URL facing database connectivity error to get correct details. Database connectivity error is mainly because of the same mySQL login details(username and password) for your database with the same permissions. Just check the mySQL error log for more details.
