Yes you can, depending on the registrar you are with and depending on the level of access you have.

There are registrars, where you have to raise a support ticket to get Auth Code, there are registrars that will only email you the Auth Code, there are registrars who ask you to call them to get the Auth Code and there are registrars where you can simple access, generate, change the Auth Code.

Contacting your registrar is the easiest way to do it as they all have different steps on obtaining it. When you do contact them however get ready for them to try and talk you in to staying.

Ensure the "registered domain owner's" email address is the one you have access to (if they're going to email the auth code, which occurs with most providers). I haven't had too many try to talk me out of it (their online form usually asks why you're leaving).
