rightchoice 12-01-2002, 09:03 PM Hello fellow web surfers, I own rightchoicehosting.com I am currently On a reseller plan, And I have grown so big, That I need a dedicated server, Below is what I am looking for, If you offer it, or know someone that does, Please Help me, Thanks
-Cpanel
-Whm
-10 Gb of space or higher
-250 Gb of Bandwith or higher
-Unlimited mySQl databases
-Unlimited Pop 3 accounts
-Unlimited Sub-Domains
-Unlimited FTP accounts
-99.9% uptime
-Very fast servers (important)
-Host unlimited Domains
I guess that is the basics of it, I would apreciate it, if anyone could help me out
mainarea 12-01-2002, 09:13 PM FastServers.net - Semi-Managed, has CPanel (sort of cheap pricing)
Nocster.net - Managed, has CPanel cheap (I use them, a great deal) - setup fees are high, but they do have some closeout deals, and are always running sales
DedicatedNow.com - Unmanaged has CPanel cheap, setup fees are high though
RackShack.net - Unmanaged, has Ensim
and the list goes on and on and on....

rightchoice 12-01-2002, 09:19 PM On most of them you said they had cpanel, but what about web host manager?
jayglate 12-01-2002, 09:20 PM When mentioned for a server WHM/CPanel are referred to as cpanel.

rightchoice 12-01-2002, 09:23 PM Oh ok, I kinda thought that, But I have to make sure
AmericanD 12-01-2002, 09:39 PM why dont these companies decrease their setup fees's .. will make life easier for the newbies entering ded world
mainarea 12-01-2002, 09:46 PM why don't they decrease their setup fees? You know, servers cost money. I can assure you that DedicatedNow will be a reliable service, but in order for it to make money, setup fees have to be higher than their PWebTech offering of 50GB of transfer, a 700Mhz processor, and management for $225/month and a 6 month contract.
You can wait for Nocster's "end of December" sale (http://www.nocster.net/sale.shtml ), their last two sales had no setup fees, so I took advantage of it :). Also, Nocster can spread out the setup fees over 3 months, I believe (remember, Nocster is probably the cheapest managed dedicated provider on the net, so they need to make money somehow).
I don't think you can go wrong with DedicatedNow or Nocster.
