Actually we are going to add them to our Racks, it gives us the ability to refresh the server, without leaving the office.

Great toy for increasing uptime.

There a few K at most, I think closer to 1k or less.

I get so many of these IS magazines, i find some really cool products, like this one.

We have a couple of those. Their real nice except that it really isn't 0U. You need to buy a control module thingy which is 1U. Without it, you can't do remote reboots. The ones we got though were not from servertech.

Theres a few companies that make them.

Overall even if the take up 1U, the money saved in support is great.

I found the cost of the control module.. it is a 1U rack mount box, but it will control 4 of these power towers.

It is 900.00 , but I can't find a cost on the tower anywhere. You have to call or email to get more info from them.

Looks like a great solution to having to wait on a data center tech to reboot your machines. 1U is not a problem when you can reboot your own servers on a full rack. Would be a great investment.

You would think data centers would be busting their door down to buy these. Think of the time it would save them... all the reboots they must get in a day.

I know I will be getting more information on these.
