Thankyou for your comments i have taken them on board! progex 12-01-2002, 07:53 PM I understand that you are new here, so I will advise you with a recommendation. I would recommend you up the stats on the free hosting you will be offering. The 500MB Bandwidth is just under many of the $12/year hosting plans you see around WHT. I'm sure you could find somebody who's willing to sell a template for $12, but do you really want a $12 template? :) adam 12-01-2002, 07:54 PM Hrm, that doesnt seem like much to be offering seeming as most designs go for $80 minimum, and thats for a template.. and 500mb bandwidth? heh, couldnt do much with that... adam 12-01-2002, 07:55 PM Ahh we posted at the same time lol.. blue44 12-01-2002, 08:01 PM if i upped the bandwidth to 2Gb, would it be any more attractive? TheOtherOne 12-01-2002, 08:11 PM it would be more attractive, but i cant say how much more effective it will be. AdminWHF 12-01-2002, 08:36 PM see the designer would still end up paying for the hosting, So after his 3 months he would have to pay so really your getting a customer as well. It's not a great deal you have, Maybe offer a year or 2 hosting.. You might get some offers. Synthetic 12-01-2002, 11:35 PM Sorry, but if you're going to be so cheap then I would suggest purchasing a "ready-to-go" template. What you're offering is worth around $30 or less. That is an extremely low fee for custom work. Jtru 12-01-2002, 11:40 PM Synthetic is right. It sounds like what you need is a cheap template and there are plenty out there. A couple months of hosting won't do a designer much good. vibesolutions 12-02-2002, 01:05 PM nobody is going to go for the deal. As the others said the value of this is worth no more than $30. Scroller 12-02-2002, 01:19 PM I hate to say this, but if you're gonna run a business, why dun you just spend some money (like $100-$200) and pay a designer to do the job. When there is money involved, chances are you'll get a better piece of work done. Just my 2 cents. LuJa 12-03-2002, 07:26 PM I'll hook you up with a template/slight customizaiton for 30 bucks if you want. PM me or email me at luke@foundryfive.com or just visit me at my site foundryfive.com and I have some templates on my HD that i haven't uploaded yet. I've been too busy workin on version 2 of F5... LuJa 12-03-2002, 07:26 PM BTW- My templates are good...the one I'd sell you is worth a lot more than 30 bucks, I'm just trying to help you out dude. |
