I don't if Cpanel and directadmin can do this if you have one where I could find such action.

Any advise?

cPanel lets you manage end user FTP with a standard shared account.

If you are developing a custom control panel, why not get the developers to help you in that.

cPanel can used to manage both FTP and web hosting, Better try Plesk control panel which is free for one domain.

Hi
If you do not want to use any control panels such as cpanel or directadmin and use only ftp services to host files, You need to install the ftp service first. Then add user accounts, assign their valid directories. For web interface there are lot of ftp scripts such as Net2FTP

Hope this helps

Thanks for your help, but for me, user should also have access to see his bandwidth usage, changing password, which I have mentioned in my post.

I'll look for it thanks

Yeah i can do that but i want to create ftp user and the valid directories on control panel itself.

Any other advise is welcome.

Thanks

Hi

I am not aware of any readymade control panel for this situation. The best option is to hire a developer for developing a custom control panel for your requirements
