Hey all,
I recently bought a new design in hope for some more customers. I don't know why it's not generating more. I post ads every 2 weeks around various boards. Why am I not generating sales? Is it my design, prices? Please i need some feedback..
(If I'm in the wrong forum, mod please move me)

i would suggest going one on one with potential customers. yes, ads and design might spark some interest, but it can't just stop there.

what i've noticed is some hosts just reply to a hosting request with yet another ad. you should email them, go one on one with them to discuss pricing etc. put in the extra effort here and make sure you maintain a good reputation while doing it

well, theres my 2 cents and im not even hosting yet lol. ^^'

Your design is okay, I guess, it's just structured awkwardly.

Some other problems:

- Your AUP/User Agreement page leads to a broken link.
- Your tech support page was a turnoff for me: http://www.webmaxhosting.com/~support
- On your hosting plans page, you have not mentioned whether the web space/bandwidth is in megabytes, gigabytes, etc..
- The main page of the site does not appear to be fully completed. Link the hosting plan listings and "about us/support" images to the correct pages.
- Usually when I sign-up for a host, I just want to get the registration process and billing completed at once. I don't want to have to wait for whenever a sales rep responds in order to receive the billing page address. Also, add some function to prevent people from submitting the form with required fields left blank.

On first viewing your site it strikes me as a little plain. Also the first special offer to hit me of 150MB for $14.95 isn't brilliant, and it's not clickable.

Your technical support page doesnt exist nor does your agreement page.

All I could suguest for your site is to make sure it works correctly and possibly work on those offers and how you display them?

Just an idea :) Good luck!

Too much whitespace and I will have to agree with Synthetic on the ~support deal.

Black background for a webhosting company? You need a logo or a header. There is just too much whitespace.
