I thought I'd submit a quick post with my initial impressions of EZPZ Hosting (www.ezpzhosting.co.uk)

After reading their special offer thread on this forum I finally decided on EZPZ last week.

Signup was simple, and the setup was instant.

I'm in the UK and the server I'm using is based in the UK. WHM and control panels are nice and quick, and the server load is rarely above 0.5 (4 CPUs)

I've submitted a few support tickets and have always had a response (and usually resolution) within 10 to 15 minutes.

Dan painlessly transferred 70+ accounts to EZPZ and it really was seamless. He even did the transfers in 4 groups over a couple of days to allow me to ensure everything was OK as we went along.

I've actually downsized from a VPS to this reseller account, and so far it's all good.

Highly recommended! Thanks to Dan and co. at EZPZ. :-)

Great review, would you mind posting the domain you have hosted with them? Or you can simply hit the report button on your post.

Sure, I've confirmed a domain hosted with them via the 'report' button.

I had several reasons for downgrading from the the VPS. Firstly, I've kind of cut back on my business hosting customers so this reseller account is a lower-cost alternative.

Secondly, the VPS - although with a decent company and with lots of RAM, always seemed a bit 'out of breath' .. webmail was slow to load, lots of load-spikes (regularly to 10+ but often to 20, 30 or more).

Granted, I'm on EZPZ's newest server so it's probably not as populated as it will eventually become, but for the moment at least, everything is just nice and quick.

Plus, they offer free WHMCS so I'm instantly saving $12 (I think) per month. :-)

Having said that, I'll probably keep the VPS anyway for 'playing with' :-)

That's what I'm doing, paying a reseller hosting for the same price of WHMCS with free WHMCS plus the reseller space :p

And I have VPSes too :D
