I’m starting a paid newsletter and dial in service for my site and am pretty clueless where to start and what to do.
I have a free newsletter and use aweber for that and they are very good – but were quite unhelpful about the logistics for a paid subscription service.

I will want to automate the whole thing – payment, subscription – monitoring who is still subscribed and renewed and who has unsubscribed, shopping carts, Sending the weekly mails & info, etc…

Does anyone know a service/company that provides this service, or how I can go about starting things off?

How does PayPal automate subscriptions?

There are 4-5 ecommerce platforms which do subscriptions quite well.

One is Modularmerchant for example.

However depends on your whole business strategy as well, or are you interested in just this feature.
