Hello,

I have been with a host that I really like but 4 days my sites went down. 4 days have past and the sites are still down. I cannot access my control panel or ftp. Whenever I go to one of my sites it says Apache has been successfully installed ex. www.bluehemp.com . I dont know what to do. I have contacted them through e-mail but have not gotten any replies. I have contacted one of their people through AIM which whom I used to talk to for the help I needed. But he never replies anymore .. and hes still on . .:(

So what should I do? Someone online said they are probably changing servers, but does it take 4 days to do that?

I need your suggestions . .Thanks

Sean

I think I understand the basis of the problem: Apache was reinstalled and your httpdocs dir was cleared.

AS to why you cannot access CPanel or FTP then I think you need to give more info - is it a password problem?

As for suggestions try all the contact options that your host has.

It looks from a distance as though your whole account has just been recreated again. Probably the server went down and they had no idea what your password was [have you tried blank pwd? ;) ]

The 'it worked' Apache page generally means there simply isn't a virtualhost container for that domain in httpd.conf.

If you had no replies within 24h then thats really bad.. start looking for an other company because one of the most important things for me at least is support.

Can you access the Hosting Company’s web site? If so, could it be possible that your account has been deleted for some reason? Sounds to me, with the lack of support, it’s time to look for a new host.

Actually they seem to be selling at reasonable prices. Plan 1: 20 GB for $ 20 per month. So the unlimited thingy doesn't do it this time.

Not replying to anything for four days when the servers are having problems is par for the course in this industry.

Aletia/Jaguar do it.

I personally wouldn't agree with that, but there are more cases of it than there should be
