What kind of server you need? Linux or Windows and specification. Otherwise how can you search without any information you need..:D

Everyday we get people asking for shared and reseller hosting hosting recommendations but to be fair this isn't the right way to use WHT. This is purely because 80% (at least) of the active membership are hosts (which is why this place is awesome, the wealth of hosting related info here is incredible). To get the most out of WHT you should spend a few hours here for a few days and just read a lot threads. There will be some genuine review threads and a lot of negative review threads because that is just human nature. People become frustrated with a host and what better way to vent that anger than by outting a host on the most popular hosting forum on the net? :)

The lack of positive reviews is also human nature. Most clients have no vested interest in being an active member here. Peoiple come here to research hosts, get what they came for and are usually not seen again (unless something goes wrong). And generally people won't sign up here just to share a positive review because that just isn't human nature either. ;)

So what to do then? Read lots of threads, lots of posts. If you see a thoughtful and knowledgeable post you like the author is probably a host with a link in the signature. Just click around, compile a list of hosts you like then use the search function to research those hosts. Email the hosts, test their support. Last thing to do is ask for feedback here but again most people here are hosts so you generally won't get useful direct feedback.

Hope this helps and good luck finding a host. This place is filled with the best hosts on the net. WHT kind of guarantees that because failures are public and painful. :)

you may want to start off reading articles on "how to select a web host" first. Knowing your requirements is important.

To help you get started, you may want to think about the following:
- What is the purpose of having a reseller account?
- how many websites would be hosted?
- what are the type of website you would be having?
- are you looking for something easy to manage?

Where are you looking for your server to be hosted? EU, Asia, America?

Any hosting company with a long enough history and a big enough number of customers will be getting mixed reviews (though the exact ratio will vary). As a provider, you can't make everybody happy all the time.

I agree with NexDog above, you need to spend time reading multiple threads here, and go beyond what this one thread will provide you with. I'm not too sure you need days of research (and if you would, I would not tell you so, because that would only stop you from even trying), if make it your goal to find a good host, as opposed to find "the best" host, as many prospective customers do. I'd read/skim the last 30-60 threads in this section for hosting recommendations, and then do a further search (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php) on the more promising companies (not "the companies that promise more" :P).

As you said you were new to the hosting industry, may I know is there any specific reasons that you like to choose reseller hosting? Are you looking forward to start a hosting business or are you just wanting to host your site? If you are just looking to host your site, I think, any shared hosting is a place where you could start.

as i am new to hosting, so i dont want to spend on hosting and require good support as i dont know much
In hosting industry there is a saying that you'll get what you pay for. Go for reasonable resources with reasonable price. It would be better to avoid any "Unlimited".

depends what you can afford and need , reseller hosting is offered by many companys. Choose who can give you a free whmcs, free enom etc. Getting the most for free is important.

Well with out a budget you can not find a good reseller

Are you looking for hosting/billing script? End support ... i am guessing space and bandwidth is not a problem since you are stating out.

I would suggest hostgator ... they even give you a nice ebook so it might help you get started.
