Hi, currently on whm/cpanel 11.25.0, running apache 1.3.41

I did try searching but couldnt find the answer to my question, if I use easyapache to upgrade to the latest apache&php will I loose my current settings in httpd.conf/php.ini? Would I need to go through the securing/hardening process again?

If you use easyapache to upgrade php and apache to the latest version, you wont loose any settings if you have it enabled/installed via WHM/cpanel earlier. But you will loose anysettings which you have done manually when you run easyapache.

When you upgrade to latest versions of apache and php easyapache take backup of previous configuration for you so that you do not loose any previous made configuration.
