Never used the InteractiveTools product.

I recommend using NewsPro - a great news/announcement script available at

http://www.amphibianweb.com/newspro/

I install it on most of my small web design client sites (if I like them). Most often I use the "Headlines on one page, each news item on its own separate page" functionality (See Advanced Options).

There are a couple of add-ons that you can get for the script as well.

It doesn't have the template system or the image upload functionality of the InteractiveTools product, but it does the job and it's free. Can't beat free, especially when it's a good script.

NewsPro is highly rated at HotScripts.com and at CGI.ResourceIndex.com.
