Hello,
On 9th Nov. 2009, Kloxo was announced as open source and it is available free for downloads.
I heard that, it became free for reason of security holes.
Soon I am going to start a file backup service on VPS, can I use Kloxo for that ?
Personally I have never used Kloxo, I need its reviews.:rolleyes:

Kloxo is not vulnerable from what I heard. But it is poorly coded so that it is not a <recommended> solution for production servers. You can however, use it on your personal servers.

Because they will be in big trouble if they get any serious issues with kloxo. The original developer is no more. And the project is dead.

Yes that's true.
But again, it's your choice if you still wanted to use Kloxo.
Considering cPanel?
Cpanel is the most commonly used hosting control panel system to date :D
