Did anyone else see that Sony Music's (www.sonymusic.com) site was hacked on Friday evening at about 5:30 PM EST.

I have a screen shot, but for some reason cannot convert it into a JPEG to upload it here.

Did anyone else catch this?

Evan

What would be smart would have something check the site every minute or something and if there is a major change(unarthorized, you would check it to a "uptodate version") to have it notify someone and to change it back

At the moment when there is unauthorized change to the site, the server is already compromized and can not be trusted any more and puting the site back up would serve no purpose. Only good solution is pulling server offline, and replacing it with brand new box.
