1) If you are asking for an Ensim powered VDS, then this is not possible. You need SX.
2) If you mean any type of VDS to run Ensim WEBppliance on top, I think H S P (Virtu....) will support this.

I want to split the server into 4 virtual servers, each allowing customer to login to their own Ensim panel(with one license if possible, but if must then i guess 4)..

You can use Virtuozzo and install Ensim with the VPS. The website is www.*******.com

I looked over serverxchange and couldnt really justify the price tag, nothing about it seems like anything special you cant do with other third party softwares that cost maybe 100-200 a piece. I dont understand the reasoning of the price.. i asked around on the board about who was using it ,but then got very little replies so im assuming its not too popular?

Virtuozzo would possibley be worth the money if it was within someones reach to fully utilize its capabilities.. I would have no use in splitting one server into 800+ and if i did the server would probably cost more than serverxchange..lol

So i guess this is just not possible right now without serverxchange or an equivalent overpriced solution?

We were lucky. We bought SX for a lot less. But we also did so almost two years ago.

First, I will say we have had no trouble with SX in the capacity we use it. Also, we have found Ensim's support to be outstanding and their control panels to be quite good. With that being said......

You would have to be nuts to pay current pricing. Ensim is far removed from where hosting has gone and will continue to go.

1) That price tag doesn't even include the other modules. You pay to activate Linux hosting Modules, Windows, Virus Scanning, etc....

2) The integrated Billing and Customer management software is BillMax. Who in their right mind would spend probably hundreds of thousands of dollars to integrate a third party software like BillMax (way over priced to begin with) with their system. They charge $.50/mo/user!!! Ensim should have developed their own system from scratch. We have developed an amazing software set by outsourcing to India. This software set cost a *fraction* of what SX cost and blows it away.

3) They charge for everything. Including the Reseller Manager that does billing, etc... it is like $1.00/mo/user. No host can make money in today's reseller market selling automation for simple management when you can get third party software for a few hundred dollars, one-time.

4) To us, the only thing it is useful for is VDS creation, dedicated server creation, and mass upgrading of servers. We do not use a single other feature set from SX. We also do not plan on it. Why would we pay $10,000 just to turn on Virus scanning, then pay $1.00/mo/mailbox????? I can pay for integration myself and do it at a fraction of the price.

5) The middle man may soon be out of business. I do not see how any company can survive as a middle man in the Application delivery world. It is getting easier and cheaper to go direct and then pay someone to develop an API to their systems.

Ensim really needs to sit down with actual host and ask what they would like. Then have thin skin about it. They have all that money, you would think they would just develop everything in house. it would certainly make the system of value. As it stands now, there pricing seems to be desperate. A last ditch effort to land the big whale they have been trying for, for years now. I certainly hope not, as the CPs, and VDSs are great. I have done a lot of research, and I can say of the VDS solutions and CP delivery systems out there, H S P would be hands down our fall back. They seem to be a little more in touch with what host want now days.

of course these are one guys opinions, but hope they help.
