If they were only non-US, then there is a possibility that I would not have heard of them because I focus primarily on US and western hemisphere countries. They do say on their site that they have a US presence so I'm a little suspicious. Also, there are a lot of typos on their site; while this could simply be a bad translation service issue, it is still another flag. Copyright 2004-2005, another red flag. Lastly, the only way I see to contact them is via email or web form -- no phone number, no address -- a BIG RED FLAG. fionix 02-26-2010, 01:12 AM Never heard of it but the site looks not very professional, looks also as they have been around only for a very short time http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/bardo-offshore-merchant.com#trafficstats or simply are not known at all by anyone. fionix 02-26-2010, 03:22 AM I recall not the name, wasn't there a company in the Philippines which was a competitor to CNP WorldWide by the time, not sure if it is the same company... Failsafe Payments 02-26-2010, 04:45 AM Bardo is a French company originally but with company presence here and there. Their English skills are very poor but they have been around for many years. In a previous thread I was bombarded with comments that "they were indeed not French but were based in Luxemburg". They are indeed French but can pf course have companies around the world. I know this first hand as I worked with them presenting them with solutions of different kinds so I have the full inside scoop. That was until they started to by-pass me and "did not feel like paying commissions". A very low grade processor focusing on difficult deals and with solutions blowing up here and there with merchants losing money. Dont want to go into details but I have not very high thoughts about this company at all. Failsafe Payments 02-26-2010, 04:49 AM And yes, they did work with CNP in the PH until that blew up and merchants lost a lot of money. Another deal intoruced by myself and by-passed by Bardo and even involving our good friends are ******* who also did some by-passing and "did not feel like paying commissions" on deals introduced. Feels like I have been in this business forever and been dealing with most until fed up and started Failsafe Payments with diligent partners. fionix 02-26-2010, 05:22 AM Bardo in the PH was a competitor to CNP they never worked together, this I have from first hand since I med with CNP Manager / Director in Salt Lake City where he was living at present time, while they were active and before they blow up the business. Anyway, maybe we are speaking about a different company, the one I refer to was located in the Philippines. |
