I want to know that will the Azure make many small hosting company close? What's the trend of traditional hosting company or Azure? Will SME change from linux like server to window server? Thanks!

Azure is a cloud hosting solution for Windows applications. I don't see it as a direct threat to web hosting companies or to Linux in general.

If anything Amazon EC2 is having a larger impact, and more on dedicated servers and collocation markets.

But MS provide multi language information, it's good for no english user. And I think that the security for SQL/storage space or windows support is better than others. (base on windows only...)

Azure is a sandbox cloud. You do not get a server, you get a .NET virtual machine. You have to create an application specifically for Azure, legacy applications cannot be run in Azure.

I am located in Peru and Microsoft is promoting an event (in spanish) about deployment of Azure apps.
Here is the URL: http://www.microsoft.com/latam/interop/convencion/

Yep. It seems much more flexible to use EC2 with a Windows instance than Azure. Of course it does have an administration over head associated with it.
