I have recently been using Google Checkout and Paypal. Our company decided to switch it around and possible look into a different Debit/Credit Card Processing.

I am wondering what services to use that will be similiar to Google Checkout Processing Fees.

In addition, we are looking for a processing solution that does not require our clients to "Create an Account" - Where they can use their card info via the WHMCS and pay accordingly.

Have you considered: Paypal and 2checkout ?
Clients no need to "create an account" to make payments to you.

Paypal they need to create an account or "Register an account" on the spot to pay.

2checkout fees are quite expensive. I did look @ them however.

Erm, I can only come up with 2CheckOut off the top of my head that doesn't require membership.

Clear this if you can, Authorize.net is only the gateway? What do I need to make it work with WHMCS?

If I remember correctly, with PayPal, you do not need to create an account to pay, but you do need an account in order to make a subscription(recurring payments).

Well seem's most of you dont know this about PayPal....

With PayPal you dont have to sign up and create an acct to make a payment if you live in the USA.

But if you dont live in the USA PayPal will force you to create an account which is not a permanent acct it's temp and theres no limit on how many temp acct's your customer can create.. It's just a security measure PayPal has.

How's this determined? By ip.

As for subscription's yes you will always be forced to have an account.

Anyhow best of luck!

My goal here is to stay way from paypal and google merchant. I'd like to use a raw plugin for WHMCS where they can use a direct CC/Debit Cards. Most of my clients will run off when it comes to "Create an Account" screen.

I'd like them to be able to handle everything off my website. :)

5.5% + .45 is a steep hit to take from moving from 2.9 + .30

not to mention 2checkout has a $50 upfront payment. gah!

Yes, you'd still need to use a merchant gateway like Authorize.net or Quantum to actually take the payment from your clients credit cards via WHMCS. I'd check with the gateways, as they might not require you have a full-blown merchant account with your bank, which would save you some money.
